Møns white cliffs and forest is only a short distance from Pension Elmehøj, as are most attractions. Liselund Park which is a romantic park with its fairy tale
castle. Ulvshale Forrest with some of the oldest forest
in Denmark.

Nyord a little island village connected to Møn by a causeway and marshland which is teeming with bird life. Located at the marshland is a bird
lookout tower making bird watching a great experience without disturbing anything. |

The magnificent old churches here on Møn, which are famous for their Fresco paintings. Pension Elmehøj has as its neighbor Elmelunde Church
which is one of the best examples, and a yearly visiting rate of about 100,000 people.

Then there are beaches also close by where you can take
a sun bake and swim, or go fossiking for interesting stones, Amber,
Flint,etc. Viking burial sites, Ceramic and Candle Workshops, Swimming Hall, Iceland Center with Iceland horses for riding. Rent a bike and take a tour to Nordfelt Forrest and beach, 3 klm´s from Pension Elmehøj. Stege
the main town here on Møn offers also a few things to look at. The Old Moat and the Museum to name a few. |
